Durga Puja 2010
|
|
Please click to view the Durga Puja 2010 Album
Distant drums, the burst of red and gold leaves against a painted autumn sunset herald the coming of the Goddess.
Nostalgia tugs hard at us and those para pandals of our youth beckon us home. Phone calls back home tell us
that the pandal structure is ready, the shopping season has begun, the puja meetings are at full swing.
Ma Durga is ready to visit her mortal abode. So however busy we are, however long we've been here - sometimes
we all find ourselves longing to be back home. This year come to your para pandal here in Boston.
At Bangla O Biswa let us gather, old friends and new, and welcome Ma Durga to our home here in Boston.
Let this be our para, let this be the memory our children grow up with, let this be Our Pujo.
