The Bangla-O-Biswa General Body meeting as previously announced in advance was virtually held on Monday 5th June 2023 from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

At the GB meeting, the 2022-2023 Bangla-O-Biswa committee concluded their term with a great sense of accomplishment. At the meeting, many 2022-2023 activities including the Bangla-O-Biswa financial status report was presented in detail and discussed. The members appreciated the Executive Committee (EC)’s work in carrying out the events during the year, raising donations and fundraisers.

Following that, the previous Executive Committee (EC) panel was dissolved.  As there were no new nominations for any position for the new Executive committee, it was unanimously decided to go ahead with the existing committee for the year 2023-2024. In this EC committee, no one will hold any particular position and all will serve as EC members. The Board of Trustees also continues to remain same.

The current Executive Committee has also decided to bring one newcomer in the Special Sub-Committee in the new membership year.
